Born in the UK, William landed on our shores at the ripe age of 4 years old. He grew to became an established artist here, and noticed a gap in the music industry, so began creating Wilfred Records, a space where artists had more accessibility to getting their music out there!
Supported by a strong ear for sound with all his years of singing, writing and producing his own music, he is able to create a multitude of different genres based on your vision.
He is the heart and soul and brains of the operation, expertly managing all of our services.
Nina Fon McMillin
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Nina is our Creative Director at the label, bringing a sharp visual eye from her knowledge of photography, fine arts and graphic design. With over three years of experience running her own photography business, she’s built a strong foundation in visual storytelling and creative direction. Her recent expansion into music photography lead to finding this role, alongside her aspirations of become a dedicated tour photographer.
She specialises in conceptualising a visual identity for artists and executing creative plans for album covers, press photos, and promotional content.
Tyler Blythe
SOUND ENGINEER
Tyler is a Wellington-based Takatāpui Wāhine, known for her dynamic presence as a touring and studio drummer, sound engineer, and solo producer. She has performed and produced alongside artist Danica Bryant since 2018, opening for Robbie Williams in 2023, and collaborated with a wide range of musicians across Pōneke's vibrant music scene.Her production style blurs the boundaries between synth pop, R&B, alternative rock, and introspective folk. With an ear for detail and a passion for emotionally-driven soundscapes, she brings an experimental edge — whether behind the kit, at the mixing desk, or building immersive tracks from the ground up. Tyler is a fierce advocate for underrepresented voices in the industry, creating music that is both technically crafted and deeply personal.
